In partnership with Artful Living, and hosted by multiple-Emmy award winner journalist Rudy Maxa, this trip features a tour of France with an emphasis on fine dining at a curated selection of world-class restaurants including Michelin-starred establishments.

Day 1: Arrive in Paris, France

  • Welcome to Paris, the city of lights! Transfer from the airport/train station to the host hotel.

  •  Welcome drinks and briefing at the Park Hyatt Paris Vendome.

  • Walking tour of Paris led by Rudy Maxa.

  •  Dinner at one of Anthony Bourdain’s favorite restaurants, L’Avant Comptoir.

Day 2: Paris

  • Morning stroll along the Seine before visiting the top of the Eiffel Tower. (As an alternative, you may opt to visit the shopping districts around the hotel.)

  • Lunch at L’Astrance, a 3 star restaurant.

  • Ride the TGV high speed train to Champagne.

  • Transfer to the 5 star Hostellerie La Briqueterie.

  • Welcome dinner and Champagne tasting at the hotel’s 1-star restaurant, La Briqueterie.


Day 3: Champagne

  • An insider’s visit to Champagne, including a private tour of the Dom Perignon cellars at Moët & Chandon.

  • Lunch at Restaurant Le Parc, a 2-star restaurant in Reims.

  • Visiting additional famous Champagne houses with private tastings.

  • Dinner at Les Berceaux, a one-star restaurant in Epernay.

Day 4: Burgundy

  • Scenic drive through the French countryside.

  • Arrive in Burgundy’s capital, Beaune.

  • Lunch at 3-star Michelin Restaurant Maison Lameloise.

  • Overnight at Hostellerie de Levernois, a 5-star boutique hotel with only 22 rooms. Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, Bistrot du Bord de l’Eau.

Day 5: Burgundy

  • Tour the most famous vineyards of Burgundy, including a visite to La Cave Privée and Château Pommard.

  • Lunch at Le Cellier Volnaysien in Volnay.

  • Dinner at Ma Cuisine in Beaune.

Day 6: Burgundy

  • Leisurely cruise on the rivers of Burgundy, with stop at quaint little villages along the way to try out the local wines and food.

  • Transfer to Lyon and the lovely Villa Florentine, a 5 star hilltop hotel.

  • Dinner at Paul Bocuse, the legendary 3 star Michelin restaurant.

Day 7: Lyon

  • Visit the center of Lyon, including Les Halles de Lyon – Paul Bocuse, the mythic indoor food market.

  • Cooking class by a starred Michelin chef at l’Atelier des Sens.

  •  Afternoon flight to Bordeaux.

  •  Overnight at 5 star hotel Le Saint-James Bouliac designed by famous architect Jean Nouvel. Dinner at the hotel’s 1-star restaurant.

Day 8: Bordeaux

  • Visiting Bordeaux wine country and its famous chateaus.

  • Lunch at Villabordoh in Margaux.

  • Dinner at La Tupina.

Day 9: Cognac

  • Day trip to Cognac. Visit the famous Cognac houses.

  • Lunch at La Table de L’Yeuse.

  • Farewell dinner at Gordon Ramsey’s 2-star restaurant Le Pressoir d’Argent.

Day 10: Train to Paris

  • High-speed TGV train to Paris after breakfast.

  • Au Revoir!
