Rudy Maxa’s Tours has been and is continuing to assess future travel operations at all our European destinations. If your upcoming travel plans are affected, a Maxa Tours representative will contact you or your travel professional to discuss postponing your journey no later than 45 days before departure. 

If you are booked on a 2022 tour, we are planning to operate them per our schedule. We are continuing to monitor the ongoing situation to ensure that we are able to provide a quality experience. If your upcoming tour is impacted by COVID-19 circumstances, a Maxa Tours representative will contact you or your travel professional to discuss options for your journey no later than 45 days before departure.

With Rudy Maxa’s Tours new, more flexible booking policy, you can plan your future travel with complete peace of mind. New or existing customers who booked travel on or before December 31, 2021 for travel through December 31, 2022 may change or cancel their reservation up to 30 days prior to departure in the event of a COVID-19-related reason at home or at the intended destination. All payments made to date will be applied to the new reservation and are non-transferable and non-refundable, except as defined in this policy. If you choose to cancel without rebooking, you will receive a credit towards future travel valid through December 31, 2022. Credit is non-transferable and non-refundable and may be used for tours through December 31, 2022. The current price of the new tour applies. You are responsible for any non-refundable airfare, insurance, and other related costs. All other standard terms & conditions apply to the reservation. These terms are subject to change and can be withdrawn at any time.

For all tours, proof of vaccination against COVID-19 is required of all guests ages 16 years and over. You must have received your last COVID-19 inoculation more than 3 weeks prior to the start of your tour. If you have a valid medical reason as verified via letter from your physician you are exempt from this requirement.

COVID-19-related reasons include:

  1. The U.S. Department of State issues a Level 4: Do Not Travel Global Health Advisory due to COVID-19 for the destination you are traveling to, or the government in your country of residence issues a comparable advisory
  2. The U.S. Department of State issues a level 4: Do Not Travel Health Advisory or the government of your country restricts all but essential travel
  3. The destination you are traveling to has entry restrictions in place that prohibit you from traveling, such as closed borders or extended quarantine requirements (more than 48 hours)
  4. International flights are cancelled without alternative routing being made available for you to use to reach the destination
